Santa Claus Supports Kucinich for President

While this isn't normally part of my holiday experience, my husband and I went to the mall with his mother. She's wanted a photo of the three of us with Santa Claus for years. Ten to be exact. I dunno how many times I had to hear that!

Anyway, I loathe the mall, but since it's that important to her, we agreed.

But since I get to ask for something for Christmas while sitting on Santa's lap, I said to him, "Oh, if you can swing it with the elves, I want Kucinich for President."

Which received a genuine "Ho, ho, ho!" and big thumbs up.

"One Kucinich for President. I voted for him last time."

"You know he's running again?"

"Oh, yes, me and the elves will make sure he wins this time. How else will we have peace on earth and goodwill towards men?"

He did this in front of all the kids and parents; it made my day.
